Whether you’re a beginner or have some coding experience, this course provides a solid foundation in programming concepts using robotics simulation to develop coding solutions with a robot and provides a relevant context for engaging students in Computer Science. The course continuum will provide students with a fun and engaging way to learn authentic applications to Computer Science concepts. What You’ll Learn • Computer Science Basics: Explore fundamental concepts such as project flow, loops, conditions, and algorithms. • Blocks and Python Programming: Dive into block-based programming and learn to code by assembling blocks that represent lines of code. • Hands-On Robotics Simulations: Use a virtual robot on a virtual field. Apply coding skills to control the robot’s movements, sensors, and interactions. • Project-Based Learning: Engage in robotics-based activities that reinforce learning.
